CORRUPTION IN CANADA, IS A VERY WIDESPREAD PROBLEM. AND NOT JUST WITH THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

THE RCMP, CANADA'S TOP LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY, HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THE VARIOUS MEDIA, AS BEING CORRUPT. SO HAS CSIS, CANADA SECURITY AND INTELLIGENCE SERVICE, WHICH HAS FACED NUMEROUS LAWSUITS, OVER ITS ILLEGAL PRACTICE, OF TARGETING, HARASSING AND USING ITS VERY BROAD POWERS, TO ATTEMPT TO FRAME UP ITS TARGETS. WHENEVER ITS OTHER TACTICS DO NOT WORK.

According to the revelations from a Whistle blower and a former Heritage Front member,  the Canadian government, has had some of its top politicians, and also police and security agencies organizations, as members of white supremacist groups. Among the revelations are the following: 

1. CSIS, HAS OPERATED AND ALSO FUNDED A WHITE SUPREMACIST GROUP, THE HERITAGE FRONT.

2. FORMER CANADIAN PRIME MINISTER, STEVEN HARPER, WAS ALSO A MEMBER OF A WHITE SUPREMACIST GROUP, IN THE 1980'S, CALLED THE NORTHERN FOUNDATION, BEFORE GOING ON TO BECOME, THE PRIME MINISTER OF CANADA.


Among the charges against the RCMP, are corruption, money laundering, fraud, tax evasion, in regards to the practice of its leaders, most notably, President James Christie, Vice President Martin Bain, and CEO Carl Walsh, in their offshore practices, of setting up 'dummy' companies, or corporations, to hide their taxable income, from those investments. And some of those investments, also include using union money, to purchase condominiums in the Bahamas, and the formation of companies, to provide exclusive travel services for those corrupt cops, as well as for their friends and partners in crime. There are also hundreds of cases, which are also provided by the RCMP, directly, of internal corruption, within that organization itself. As well, the RCMP almost never acts alone, but always has the service and the support of CSIS, in regards to the investigation of some cases, involving select targets of the Canadian government. I say select, because those targets, also seem to fall under certain religious, or ethnic groups. Prominent among those groups, are Muslim Canadians, African Canadians and also Arab Canadians. In one report against the RCMP, 300 of its current and former female officers, has charged their superiors for sexual harassment. And as far as CSIS is also concerned, there are also numerous lawsuits, that has also being filed against that agency, from Canadians, for violating their rights under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.  And the list is also very long. I am not talking abut the more recognized cases, that are often in the media and for the wrong reasons. CSIS has been accused of using tactics, that are straight out of the gestapo, on its targets.

Yet, CSIS, as a national security agency, has also been involved in the kind of internal corruption, that also rivals the RCMP. No one is also really surprised at these findings, against Canada. In fact, just a cursory view on the internet, will also reveal an abundant amount of evidence, of its corruption. So why does it still in most cases, retain its squeaky image, of a country that is above reproach?. When all levels of its government and also its top policing agency, the RCMP, are also mired in corruption?. Does the Canadian media also has something to do with the suppression of this information?. I do not blame the media, as much as I also blame those so called human rights agencies, such as Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International, as well as the Canadian Civil Liberty Union, for helping to suppress, the reality of a corrupt government in Canada. Thankfully, though, their reports are also not necessary, for the world to get a full view of what that country is like.

International governance, such as the UN, the World Bank, and others, has all put out their own reports, about Canada's actions, that can also be compared with other countries, acting corrupt. One report that has been put out by the World Bank, on a list of 250 international companies, that are also blacklisted, from bidding on its global projects, 117 of those companies are from Canada.  Most of those companies, which are also affiliated with the Montreal, Quebec company, SNC- Lavalin, the primary target of the investigation, are also debarred for 10 years, as a result of their corruption.

As for the UN's report on corruption in Canada, it is even more of a laughable matter, since Canada has also ratified the UN''s treaty on corruption. Canada as a country, is guilty of so many violations, under the UN's various treaties, that I won't even begin to list them all here. The UN's treaties on human rights, torture, corruption and many others, has all been blatantly ignored and also openly violated, by that country.  And Transparency International, in a surprised break in its usual report on Canada, has also ranked it as the worst of the G7 nations, on corruption and bribery.  Canada also has a practice of corruption, most notably bribery, in other countries, by Canadian officials operating in those countries. And it also ranks as one of the worse offenders, internationally, regarding that matter.

As an advocate against the Bill C-51 legislation, which in the view of most people is a flagrant violation of human rights and especially of those rights under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, former white supremacist and now whistle blower, Elisa Hategan, has come forward with some revealing and damaging accounts of CSIS, Canada's national security agency, as operating and funding, one of the most racist organizations, in Canada, the Heritage Front. According to the whistle blower, it was CSIS agent, Grant Bristow, who also acted as the leader of the Heritage Front, for more than four years. And that during those times, the white supremacist group was also funded by CSIS, as well.  She also claimed in her book, that many other Canadian politicians from the Reform Party, were also members of other white supremacist groups, like the Northern Foundation. Of which former Canadian Prime Minister, Stephan Harper, was also a member. It is not difficult now to see how Stephen Harper, as the former Prime Minister of Canada, could also have helped to have enacted
Bill C-51, which gives police agencies, such as CSIS and the RCMP, very broad powers, in arresting and also detaining citizens, without a warrant, or even the reason for being charged. And also under that piece of legislation, also maintain secret court file, which they also do not have to revealed. Under Bill C-51, persons can be arrested and detained for up to 7 days, or even longer, under so called threats to national security. If this sounds like the actions of a police state, it is also definitely
considered so, by many people, not only because of the abuse of police authority, but also because of the abuse of citizens rights, under not only Canadian law, but also under international human rights laws.

And CSIS, as well the RCMP and also the local police, also operates many tactics against private individuals, such as activists, including against this writer, that are not only illegal in nature, but also should be considered as an open violation of international laws, against human rights.

So what do you think of a country, whose former and current politicians, are members of racist white supremacist groups?. Even leading up to the former Prime Minister, as a member of such a racist group. And how about its police agencies, such as the RCMP, committing crimes, that not even most regular citizens commits and also for the most part gets away with their crimes and also their corruption. Would you not say that this was a corrupt country, not unlike many other countries which do the same?. And is there any end in sight to what is an openly corrupt government?.

I have been reporting recently, on corruption at the local level of government in Canada and most specifically, about one such Canadian government officials, the City Manager , Peter Wallace, who as such also holds one of the highest position in local government, in Toronto. I an also here to report further, that after contacting his office, several weeks ago and also speaking with his assistant, Julie Scarchello, about following up on why some Toronto city officials, has also not carried out their duty to lay charges, regarding an investigation, that the City Manager, also claimed that those charges would also commenced, by those officials, that I have not gotten back a response from the City Manager. This is the the same guy, who when he was also appointed to his new position, back in May, also promised to operate his office, with transparency, openness and accountability to the public. We have also not seen any of those promises come to fulfillment either from him.

What the public has witnessed through my dealing with that  corrupt local Canadian government official, is that he has now provided irrefutable evidence of his practice of racism. He has also provided irrefutable evidence of his personal corruption. And viewing the matter more closely, what do you think that this country's actions will also be next?.  Fortunately, the world is also sitting up and taking notice of its actions. As a persistent violator of human rights, I have also been living under its illegal surveillance, harassment and torture, as a human rights activist. Yet no one seem to think that those actions, on the part of that country, is also serious enough. There are also many others like myself, who are also targeted and has seen its criminal actions, upfront. We will keep on talking about it until something is also done.
