EXPOSING CORRUPTION WITHIN TORONTO SOCIAL HOUSING.

TORONTO SOCIAL HOUSING IS ROCKED BY SCANDAL.
THE TCHC BOARD CHAIR RESIGNS OVER CHARGES OF CORRUPTION.

THE CONNECTION, ALSO, BETWEEN THE FUNDS & RISK MANAGEMENT, DEPARTMENT MANAGERS,
AT THE TORONTO SOCIAL HOUSING AND THE MINISTRY OF MUNICIPAL AFFAIRS & HOUSING,
MARIA VARLOKOSTAS AND ALLISSON COKE AND WHY THE AUDITOR GENERAL, SHOULD ALSO
INVESTIGATE, THEIR ACTIONS, CONCERNING CORRUPTION AND PUBLICLY FUNDED COMPANIES.


THE MOSHAV NOAM COOPERATIVE HOUSING, STAFF AND MANAGEMENT, SUCH AS SANDRA THOMPSON, MINTZ & PARTNERS INC. M&P PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, AND KEHILLA RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMME, SHOULD ALSO BE INVESTIGATED FOR CARRYING OUT CRIMES AGAINST OTHER MEMBERS, SUCH AS ORGANIZING ATTACKS AGAINST SOME MEMBERS OF THE BUILDING, INCLUDING OPEN RACISM, THAT IS ALSO PRACTICED BY THE MANAGEMENT, ITSELF AND LACK OF ESSENTIAL SERVICES TO THE BUILDING, SUCH AS HOT WATER, GARBAGE COLLECTION, MAKING REPAIRS AND HAVING WORKING APPLIANCES, INSTEAD OF THE CHEAP ONES, THAT ARE ALWAYS BREAKING DOWN. THEY SHOULD ALSO BE FIRED BY MAYOR ROB FORD AND ALSO INVESTIGATED FOR BREACH OF PUBLIC TRUST.

The Toronto Community Housing Corporation's, latest scandal, involving staff members abusing their positions, by their lavish spending habits, that has nothing to do with the carrying out of their public duties, such as expensive vacations and also having pedicures, manicures, and other fringe benefits, at the tax payers' expense, is nothing new and in my opinion, is also, just the tip of the iceberg, regarding the corruption, that also currently exist, within the Toronto Social Housing Unit.

Among the TCHC's other more dubious expenditures, also included the following: 200 million dollars awarded for procurements. Procruements for what exactly? This one is also the least believable, since anyone who is also familiar with TCHC buildings, can also attest, that those same buildings, are also in need of some serious work and that the people who also live in those buildings, some of them, also live in substandard homes, because of this fact. Some of them can also be described as being in object squallor. For example, I also met one lady recently, who lives in the Lawrence Heights Housing Project, or "jungle", who has been trying for the longest time, to get the TCHC, to deal with the bedbugs and the cockroaches in her building. She has told me, that her son is also asthmatic and that the situation is also really bad for his health. I also explained to her, that my building, was also recently checked for bedbugs and I also wondered in this case, if the preferencey, that was also shown, in regards to this, was also because my building, was also in a jewish area, with the building residents, being more than 75 percent jewish. Since both communities are also juxtaposed in the same area of the city, I've also seen the difference given in the treatment of the differenct residents of the area.

I have also written extensively, here on my blog, in regards to some of the practices of the Toronto Social Housing Unit, that has involved their staff and some Toronto City Councillors, such as Janet Davis and others, and the awarding of contracts, to some private companies, and other corporations, such as M&P Property Management and Mintz and Partners, after it was found, that they had also did not carried out their duties, in the best interest of the public. And in fact, were also implicated, in criminal actions, against members of the public and also against redidents, of those buildings, such as the Moshav Noam Housing Coop, where I also live and where people there, has also experienced, personal attacks, that has been carried out by the management, Kehilla Residential Programme and Mintz & Partners Inc.

Mintz & Partners, has also continued to manage the building, despite their term, as the Receiver and Manager of the building, also ending in Novemenr 2010. It was extended for only one year, from November 9, 2009 to Novemner 10, 2010. Somehow they have also managed to continue, to get funding from the City of Toronto, through the Toronto Social Housing Unit, while the new company Kehilla Residential Programme, is also being considered, by them and the City of Toronto, to fill their position, on a permanent basis. Something that the residents, also do not want to see happen. And despite the public complaints, against the both of them, the Funds&Risk Management, managers, Maria Varloostas, who also gets, over a hundrend thousand dollars, in salary a year and both she Allison Coke, at the Ministry of Housing, are also pushing, for them to continue, to manage the building, on a permanent basis.

The president of Mintz & Partners Inc, Howard Rubenhoff, also bilks the City of Tornto, at two hundred and fifty dollars, per hour, for any work, that he also carries out, as the manager, of the the building, even beyond his term, as the manager and receiver. The judge, in the commercial court, the last time, that they had also tried to get their term extended, as the manager of the Moshav Noam Coop, and for the seventh, or eight times, thanks to people like Maria Varlokostas, who has also recommended them, to continue on, as managers of the building and which the Court also refused, and also noted, at how expensive, it was, for the city of Toronto, to also continue to maintaim them, as the Receiver of the building. I was also there, at that hearing.

Some of their most disgusting actions, also included, open racism, at the building, against some groups, by both Kehilla, Mintz and Partners and M&P Property Management. Their worst crimes, though, are the organized attacks, that they have also carried out, against some members, such as myself and using other members of the building, to do so. For me, their actions goes even further, to also include working with others, such as the police, who has also given them immunity, to carry out those attacks against me, in my home. Simply as a way of entrapping me and also harassing me. My safety is also jeopardized, daily, because of their actions against me, yet I still has also, refused to move. Since laying a private charge, of criminal harassment, against the property manager, Sandra Thompson, who has been involved in those attacks against me directly, she has also continued to worked, both secretly and openly to carry out those attacks and also still believes, foolishly, that she can also keep her job, as the property manager, in the process. Several others has also previously left, on account of those same actions against me, including Tiffany Woodfield, Debbie Piggot and Karen Barker, yet she also believes, that she will stay on and continue to go against the members of the building, including me? These are secret crimes, which should also be exposed and those involved, investigated and also charged, for their criminal actions, against the public.

Toronto's Mayor Rob Ford, and the Toronto City Council, will also do well, not only to investigate, those latest corruption scandals, involving the Toronto Social Housing Unit, such as those within the Toronto Community Housing Corporation and others, but also to get rid of the corrupt City Councillors and other staff, within the Toronto Social Housing Unit, itself, such as Maria Varlokostas, the Funds & Risk Management, manager and Phil Brown, who is also the general manager, and hire new people, to also take over that agency. Paying out millions of dollars in contracts, to companies, that also do not deserves to be awarded those contracts, in terms of their services, as well as their other actions, that also go against public interest, should also be a top priority for Mayor Rob Ford, in cleaning up the corruption, within the Toronto Social Housing Unit.

In fact I also recommends, that this agency, should be disbanded altogether and be replaced by a more efficiently working service, that also does not include the broad powers, that has been given to the former, where they also did not have to answer to the Toronto City Council, for some of their decisions, such as how they go about hiring and keeping on those companies, or even some of their board members, that also did not involved, the direct input from other members of the Toronto City Council. The Toronto Social Housing Unit, has operated autonomously and corruptly for a long time and it is also about time, that this also changes. The last time that I check, corruption was also a crime. But how do you deal with a crime like that, which is also basically carried out in secret and involved, to many extent, the very people who are also supposed to prevent it? It would also take someone, with a different ideal, than those currently involved in it, to also take actions against it. I hope that Toronto's new Mayor can do the job.
