TORONTO FIRE INSPECTOR, ASHLEIGH BROWN, CHARGED WITH BREACH OF PUBLIC TRUST AND CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT AN INDICTABLE OFFENCE, CONCERNING THE INVESTIGATION, OF AN ILLEGAL ROOMING HOUSE, IN SCARBOROUGH.

ALSO CHARGED, ALONG WITH T.O. FIRE INSPECTOR,
ASHLEIGH BROWN, IS KARIM GILANI, A BUILDING
INSPECTOR, WITH THE TORONTO BUILDING DIVISION.
WITH A BREACH OF PUBLIC TRUST AND CONSPIRACY
TO COMMIT AN INDICTABLE OFFENCE, IN THE
INVESTIGATION.

Toronto Fire Inspector, Ashleigh Brown, of the Scarborough
Division, was charged recently, through a private information,
that was laid against her on January 31st, for lying and covering up
for the owner of an illegal rooming house, in Scarborough. Brown is
accused, of actively participating in the cover-up, to allow the
landlord to continue, to carry on with her illegal activities
 and to endanger public safety. T.O. Fire Inspector, Ashleigh
Brown, allegedly, lied about evidence that she saw upon
inspecting the furnace room and other areas, of the illegal
rooming house, where it was also alleged, that the landlord was
renting it out as a furnished rental unit, to one of her tenants.
